Meet the Artist

Stephanie van der Beek (1980) is a contemporary artist with more than twenty years of experience developing a distinctive artistic voice.

Born in Hamburg and shaped by a life of travel — especially her years on the Côte d’Azur — her work reflects curiosity, growth and a deep dedication to creating. What began as a personal need for expression has evolved into a full-time professional art practice.

Using liquid alcohol ink and carefully directed air diffusion, Stephanie creates flowing, one-of-a-kind artworks filled with movement, emotion and strength. Her art tells stories of positivity, resilience and personal growth.

Stephanie’s work has been exhibited throughout Europe and is represented by Sille Gallery, Rembrandt Gallery and Galerie de Ruimte. Her artworks can be found in homes, galleries, hotels, restaurants and design spaces.

Painting with Air and Instinct

Stephanie paints without brushes or canvas, using liquid ink, pure alcohol and carefully directed airflow. Rather than controlling every detail, she guides the movement of the materials until a composition emerges that feels both powerful and alive.

Over the years, she has developed this technique into a distinctive signature style for exclusive, high-end artworks. Each piece is built layer by layer through intuition, emotion and timing — a balance between control and surrender.

Many works include gold accents that capture and reflect light, creating depth and movement as the viewer changes perspective. Finished with multiple layers of high-gloss coating, her artworks have a luminous surface that enhances colour and elegance. Her compositions are often round, oval or organically shaped, moving away from the traditional rectangle.

"My work is known for its round and organic formsvibrant hues, and golden light — each painting a one-of-a-kind creation made to bring rhythm, emotion and elegance into a space."
