Meet the Artist

Jelmer Reus is a Dutch designer and furniture maker who focuses on designing products with sustainability and circular design as his main sources of inspiration. He specializes in using residual materials to create new products, because tons of leftovers are produced every day all around the world. Instead of using new materials, he aims to give these leftovers a second life.

By creating Multylino, a material built up from layers of desktop linoleum, he is working to reduce the waste stockpile of the world’s largest linoleum producer. And this linoleum journey is just the beginning…

Multylino

Jelmer Reus presents Multylino, a new, never seen before material made out of leftovers Desktop Furniture Linoleum coming from Forbo Flooring.

The new material consists of multiple layers furniture linoleum that have received a treatment to create a sturdy sheet that can be used for various purposes, such as making table tops, chair seats and various other products.

We also make uniquely designed furniture or custom projects on request.
